Pinkney has played the game of volleyball for 12 years, and enjoys every position of the game. “I love the competitiveness of volleyball, and that it’s more of a team sport than individual sport.” Even though the lady volleyball team has had a rough start, the support of the Dillard family is still needed for the Lady Blue Devils. “We are a young team that has a wide range of talent. We still have a few kinks to fix and we still have faith in one another.” “‘I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me’ is what I stand by everyday,” said Pinkney. As an athlete and a student, Pinkney practices setting a great example as a student-athlete striving for success both on and off the court.
